Littlehill Oscar We thought long and hard before deciding to get a new pup after we lost our first flattie Bob over a year ago, and made the journey to visit Pauline and Frank twice before making the decision to go ahead. They were extremely friendly and informative, and clearly loved and knew each of their dogs as individuals as well as being a mine of information on flatties as a breed. Oscar has been with us for 3 months now and has truly integrated himself into our lives; he keeps us amused for hours. He is an exceptionally happy, friendly, intelligent, inquisitive pup and already everyone’s friend…..even the postie! During his first week with us Oscar managed to damage his eye. Pauline couldn’t have been more supportive, and even offered to pay for him to visit a specialist eye vet. It was great to have such openness and honesty from his breeder at what was a very worrying time for us. Thankfully what looked pretty terrible turned out to be quite a minor injury and Oscar is now fully recovered, though always getting into some sort of trouble! Oscars favourite toy is a (now half stuffed) flamingo but he also loves bits of old rope (our ponies haynets) and has a passion for ‘helping’ in the garden. We can’t wait to get out and about with him in the summer, particularly to the beach to teach him to swim. I would have absolutely no doubts about the quality, care and investment made in the Littlehill pups by Pauline and Frank and look forward to the time when we can return to Littlehill and take home a small liver coloured friend for Oscar. Thank you. Wendy & David |

Chi (Littlehill Song)
Chi arrived 5 weeks ago and settled in so quickly. Typical pup into everything and always happy to meet new people and dogs and cats and anything else that she can say hello to. She is an absolute joy and there is never a dull moment when she is awake.
Out & about couldn’t come quick enough flaty pup first day out straight into the stream (she had a little practice first, thought she would try out the pond in mum’s garden that was week1!) The big girl Tinker has become quite motherly and keeps a watchful eye but lets her away with murder Chi can usually be found hanging off Tinkers ears, tail and feathers.
And sometimes it is all too much and we just collapse wherever we are and have a sleep.
Regards
Karen |

| Tillie (born 22/3/09) Tillie has settled in very well, she loves swimming in the river Wharfe, walking in the Yorkshire Dales and running through the heather on the North Yorkshire Moors as you can see from the pictures. She is a lovely pet, she is very good with children and wants to meet and greet everyone she sees! |

Oakley
Oakley was born on 5th September 2006. He is an absolutely wonderful dog. He has a brilliant nature and loves everyone! He is a real action dog, regularly coming out on mountain bike trails with myself and my husband Jason. He also comes out running with me and can happily run alongside me in a straight line! Although he loves the water he has only just started to swim recently - for a while we thought it was never going to happen but he has finally let his paws leave the bottom and is a fast and confident dog in the water. We ofen go surfing and kayaking and Oakley always joins us. He is fantastic with chilldren too, something we have not taught him as we have no kids but my neice who is 2 years old adores him. She pulls his ears and rigorously pats him on the head and he is happy to oblige! He never jumps up on her - just dances round her and licks her fingers and toes.
We read up a lot about Flatcoats before getting Oakley and he has surpassed our expectations. He is a handsome, well mannered, friendly and happy dog. We love him!
Cheers
Lynne Reid
Max
We got Max from Pauline and Frank in October 2007 and couldn’t ask for a better dog. Max has a fantastic temperament and takes everything in his stride. I can defiantly see the qualities of his mother, Song and father, Taffy.
Max is very affectionate and loves getting clapped, he often comes and stands in front of you when you are sitting down just so you will clap him! He is a very sociable dog and loves being with people and especially likes greeting new people who come to ‘his’ house. He loves going for long walks and in particular loves running straight through all the muddy puddles.
Max is an outgoing, energetic and faithful dog whose tail is always wagging. He is well and truly part of the family and we love him to bits.
